Don't they look GUILTY.

Yeah, You Better Keep Running!
These are my attempted burglars. I looked out my front window yesterday and saw a guy out front in my driveway looking around back. I was going out to feed the goats with my nephew and when I went out back I found the other guy sneaking towards my bike. I asked him what he wanted. He replied "No habla Englis" I started yelling "Who are you, What do you want" He then grabbed Dain's bike and started running with it (which they had brought over from Peter's parents who live next door). I yelled "Drop it, that is my sons" He and the other guy took off down the street after dropping the bike. I called 911. Jerry and Christine were just pulling into my driveway to pick up Seth. They were a great help and followed the guys down the street until the policeman got there. He was flying down our road. The 911 operater thought he sounded fast. Then I saw the policeman run out of his car and chase after the guys into the orchard. These pictures are from Jerry and Christine. The police couldn't catch them. There have been many burglaries lately. Bad time of year for vandalism and theft.

Wow! You guys got lucky other than they weren't caught but at least nothing was stolen. I can't believe they tried this while you guys were right there during the daytime! Crazy. I hope they don't come to my place!

How scary! I don't know what I would do if that happened to me. I don't think I am very good in a crisis--not that I have had a lot of crises to try to get through. Good job!

You are one brave mamma! Good job for taking charge and getting them off your property. I doubt they'll be back!

Why couldn't the police catch them?! I'm glad you are safe. How disturbing.
