A celebrity at girls camp?



I only took two photos at girls camp this year and both are of the same picture above....this was the only time I thought to get my camera out...oh well!

Our theme for girls camp this year was..."In all of living have much joy and laughter, Life is to be enjoyed not just endured" (Gordon B. Hinckley)

Nikki, Whitney and Lexi (in the picture above) lived up to the theme and entertained us all with their life size version of the High School Musical star. They brought the card board cut out to flag ceremony in the morning and at night. If I remember right on a colder evening he had a Wahluke Warriors sweatshirt on. Very Funny and thanks for the laughs.

Brooke sent me a picture of her and I floating down the river, this was the only time I was in the middle of the river. Normally I was ping ponging from one side of the river to the other. The river current took me through some trees and I ended up with twigs, leaves and feathers in my hair and mouth......oh and also a birds nest in my hand. Brooke and I had a good laugh over it all. Here I was a leader there and I did worse than the girls.

After it was all over Brooke and I were laughing so hard at the images of me going through brush and trees that we were crying. Our sides ached from laughing so hard as we wiped away our tears. We hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. It was good for us moms to be up there to remember what it is like to be girls again.
